One of my Great-Auntie Violet's hens, I have a lot of photos of her animals uploaded recently. Well, I do love animals, wouldn't want to be a wildlife photographer if I didn't.

Pretty Albino

This is one little cutie, snow white feathers, deep red eyes. Little thing just sat there posing for me, obviously knows it's rather photogenic. Got to appreciate the animals that actually give you the chance to take a shot, of course some of them don't have the time. Still, ought to appreciate all animals. Would regret it someday when some species are extinct, conservation is important. Although I don't think budgies are endangered, although are albino ones rare? I should look into that.

Oddball Blue, Just As Pretty As You

Little Blue might be a little bit different to his/her fellow companions, but still, just as gorgeus if not more. Personally, I prefer the colour blue, my favourite! However I do have a tendency to change my favourite colour, why must they all be so appealing? A world without colour woudln't be right, although some people have to live with it. Bees, bees see more colours I hear. Our brains can't even comprehend that! Another colour? Impossible! Our cone cells in the back of the eye limit our colour vision, still, at least we can see some colours.

Can You Find Me?

Sucker fish, hypostomus plecostomus? I'm not entirely sure, fish aren't my strong point. My grandad would know better! Not that I don't like fish, I don't like eating them but as living animals, they aren't bad. Some are pretty amazing, quite fascinating in fact. Of course some of the more common ones may not seem quite so.. unique, but all creatures are wonderful in my opinion. Although spiders are a bit dodgy..

Just Keep Swimming

Fish! I don't know what kind, but I know they are fish! I'm not an expert so don't expect a latin name. I do try sometimes though, but I doubt typing into google, 'yellow and black fish' will enlighten me as to what breeds these ones are. Not hoping to be a marine photographer anyway, I can't even swim! Although if global warming is true I might need to learn how, but for now, I'll take my chances.

Cock-a-doodle-doo

Check out this guy! I thought his feathers were beautiful, just look at those colours! His intense stare seems a little unnerving sometimes, but he's a nice cockerel. He didn't chase me like the last one did, scarred for life from childhood. But one rooster's actions doesn't reflect the actions of the entire rooster population. That goes for any animal, including humans.

Chestnut

Not the best of horse photos, there was a hedge in my way but I tried to make the best of it. I don't actually know who owns this horse, and I doubt it's name is actually Chestnut. But I'll decide to call in Chestnut in honour of it's colour, horses are beautiful animals. Take 'Black Beauty' as an example. Ever watched the movie 'Spirit'? One of my favourites!
