Cloudy Cover
As it turns out I have quite a few sky shots, but hardly any of them have had the honour of being posted on my blog. However I may start making exceptions, so expect some sky shots for the next few days.

Blue Tsunami
It's my Dad's birthday today, and he supports Birmingham Football. So I decided to put a photo up of a blue sky with clouds which look a bit like a wave. Hey, it's the closest I've got to something blue!

House Among the Fields
Taken from a distance, without a tripod, it's slightly blurry. However it turned out better than expected.

Fasten those Seatbelts
Was on my way to school, very early in the morning as usual, and one of my first thoughts wasn't of my homework or what the day had in store for me but to take a picture of the seatbelt sign on the back of a seat in front of me. One that had been coloured in blue to intentionally turn the person into a Smurf or Avatar, or some form of blue creature, could be a failed attempt at a blue ringed octopus. It was one smurfing cold morning may I add.

Cloudy Puddle
I found this puddle on the side of the road, a completely normal thing to see in Northern Ireland of course. But then I noticed you could clearly see the reflection of the clouds and the sky, that's not something I would usually notice in a puddle as I don't go around inspecting puddles, commenting on the detail of the reflections. Usually.

Haylin' and Baylin'
My interest in going for walks means I get lots of photos of random things, such as the hay bales up above.

Curvy Road
I went for a walk with my parents (that's them in the background) on Mother's Day and we came across this curvy road. It was surrounded by fields on either side with low hedges so it gave me quite a nice view of the countryside, the weather was fairly sunny too and it was a nice walk in spite of the wind. Although halfway through, the Heaven's opened and we had to stand underneath a tree for shelter.

Street Light, City Light
The view from my Nanny's window in the lounge, the overpass and the city in the background. At night it lights up, so do the street lights.

Autumn Trees
Here's the lake and the forest during Autumn/Winter. I always love the wide variety of colours during the Autumn season, as do many other people I'm sure. Gold, crimson, scarlet, amber, and many other colours always create a beautiful forest landscape during Autumn.

Barbed
Barbed wire evokes a number of images in people's minds, for example when I see barbed wire I instantly think about the trenches during the World Wars 1 and 2, and images of soldiers trying to cut through it with wire cutters. Probably because of some of the history videos our history teacher showed us when we were learning about Hitler etc. Those videos were rather informative.

Nyan Cat
Named after the popular internet video, this is Snowman in Nyan Cat form with multicoloured fur. Hopefully he doesn't fly around the sky saying 'nyan' all the time.

Fly birdy, fly!
I have a habit of drawing random things when I am bored, for instance I drew this fat bird being chased by.. something? I have no idea what the creature in pursuit of the bird actually is, I have a strange imagination sometimes.

Schoolbag
To be quite honest I have no idea why I took this photo, my school bag on the bus. But oh well, I put it up anyway!

Spidey
I managed to catch this spider under a coca cola glass and slide some paper underneath. He desperately tried to escape which was pointless because, well, he was trapped under a glass. He shouldn't have worried though because I freed him soon after, onto the pathway leading to the back of the garage. He doesn't seem that big but at the time he seemed like a huge monster death eater to me. I'm not the biggest fan of spiders, as you may gather, but I still don't like to see them killed.

Sun Bright
My brother, grandad and I were doing some peat deliveries and so they were exhausted from having to carry it all. The walk up the steep hill to the house didn't help much. Talking about peat and the hill, it reminds me of the wintery day with heavy snow and my grandad came up with an ingenious way of moving the peat from the back of the house to the bottom of the hill. He decided to use the peat as a sled to go down the hill, probably easier than carrying it over his shoulder down the slippy slope I guess. My grandad comes up with easy solutions to everyday tasks regularly, very clever.

Queen's Jubilee Celebrations
Excuse the fuzziness of these shots, maximum zoom means they aren't very sharp. Yet I thought it would be appropriate to put up some examples of the celebration in Lisburn for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. A concert with Flash Harry, the Mayor of Lisburn lighting the beacon, and there was also a magnificent fireworks display which I have on video. It was a rather entertaining night.

Windblown
The racecourse and the golfcourse, as I walked by I noticed all the trees were bent because of the wind. It wasn't even an extremely windy day! I decided to take a shot because they looked rather odd.

Geoff Cheese
This was just for some entertainment, I decided to create a Cheesestring/human creature and ended up with Geoff. Unfortunately he was made without a nose, or ears or even a mouth. But I figure he's happy enough with his gloriously stringy hairdo.

Deep Sea Carpet
Snowman, the fourth cat. I probably have the most photos of him than the others, in spite of the fact that he is my Nanny's cat. He was a stray and he was so thin you could count his ribs, but we fed him outside and eventually after months he decided to come inside and live with my Grandparents. He still believes he's a little kitten and so has a 'happy hour' when he goes hyper and randomly runs up and down the hall. I must say he's quite a character.
